I read this book about a year ago. I did not like it. It was strange and in the end very disturbing. It was certainly not what I was expecting out of the book but it did make me think. I thought a lot about the book and what I thought was, “I don’t like this book.” Sure the story is interesting and it is a tale of survival but the twist really threw me and I was rather disturbed by it. My sister Tara, who loaned me the book and I inadvertently gave it away on her in the family Yankee swap, didn’t like it either.

Fisher Price Little People
I love these things, they are so cute and great for little kids. I recently picked up a set for our friend’s Amy and Ryan’s son Mason. He is a great kid and he likes the little people animals and people sets. They have the Little People Nativity set. I think I may pick that up sometime for our family (It would be nice to have a set that kids can put out and play with without fearing to break them). I picked Mason up a Little People Pirate set. Not the Pirate ship but a pirate and and island. I love the pirate ship and would love to get that too but I think eventualy I’m going to need some kids to justify buying all these toys.
