Today the heat has been so oppressive. It stinks. I am glad that I went and had Erik help me install the air conditioners yesterday. It made a difference when we got home. I didn’t play much of the Transformers Game today because it was too hot and I got too frustrated with the difficulty of some of the controls. Driving in this game is tough.
Here is another flower picture. There are plenty of flowers in our front yard and many are feeling the pressure of the heat.
A couple of cool things on the other blogs today. I found a great fake trailer for a movie I would have loved to have seen. Check out Goonies vs. Pirates. I also found the real trailer to Into the Wild, a movie based on the Jon Krakauer book about Chris MCandless.
I also started putting the finishing touches on next months awesome contest. All my photography friends get ready to be here on July 1st at 8:00am. And get your cameras ready.
With a mini vacation coming up next week I began to think about fun vacations I have had in the past. And all the photos I took while on vacation. There is a contest being sponsored by WeNeedaVacation.com with a prize of $1,000.00 towards a vacation. It is a photo contest that you can enter. The theme is for a photo that best captures the “spirit of vacation”. Heck I bet I have quite a few of those. In addition to the prize there will be a $5 donation to the Association to Preserve Cape Cod up to $1,000.00. That is pretty cool.
