I guess the title should just be Gecko as I only photographed one today. I was commenting that I had not seen as many geckos on this trip as I had seen on our previous visit this past summer. Maybe is was the heat who knows. As I was stating that I had not seen as many geckos I see one clinging to the side of the house.
We were returning from the pool and I had my Xacti with me so I set it to macro and snapped this shot and a couple more. I was able to get pretty close before it tore off and went into the hurricane shutters.
Lazy day here today. I kept busy with some posts on BenSpark 2 about the season finale of The Sarah Connor Chronicles: Vick’s Chip and What He Beheld. Both episodes are embedded on the blog, too. I also posted my latest Guest post for IZEA. I’m also working on some videos of our time in the pool today and yesterday.
I started my vacation this past Friday. When I packed for my trip the most important things that I wanted to take with me were my Mad Gringo Hawaiian shirts, hat and flip flops. I bought all of my shirts (5 of them) and the Mad Gringo sent me a baseball hat and a pair of flip flops. I am not big on flip flops because I am afraid to step on something and won’t know it because of my Neuroupathy. I have not had bare feet in a long time but I tried out the flip flops.
I really like the design of them because they have the great Mad Gringo logo on them. They are also pretty basic and easy to wear as well. Comfortable and great for the beach. The baseball hat is a light green one with a white Mad Gringo logo on it. I like that one much better than the blue one that I bought Allison.
I love how relaxed I feel in my Mad Gringo gear.
