The desk in my office is littered with toys. I have some MEGA Bloks Hot Wheels toys from a review last week. I also have some BrickStix from a review I was supposed to write since last Toy Fair. We’ll be using them with Eva’s LEGO movie. Speaking of Eva’s LEGO movie the desk also has a couple of set pieces for the movie which is turning into a monster of its own. She has a ton of ideas for it. We’ve been building all sorts of set pieces for this movie and have a cast list and more. I even downloaded the LEGO Movie Maker app so that we can start shooting the movie. I’ll be learning about how to shoot stop motion animation and how to make the LEGO figures walk and move smoothly.
We are pretty excited for the second season of Sofia the First in our house. This is a show that is enjoyed by both of the kids equally. As an adult I am excited to hear many actors and actresses that I enjoy working on the show. There are a ton of them who are showing up to Enchancia to spend time with Sofia including Ginnifer Goodwin, Snow White from Once Upon a Time. And it looks like some of our favorite princesses will also be showing up to help Sofia when things get tough. I like that only a few princesses show up each season and I look forward to seeing which ones will appear. I really thought that a good fit would have been to have princess Merida appear in the episode where Sofia tried out for the flying horses race team episode. She would have been a good one to work with Sofia. I wonder when and if we will see her on the show. Continue reading Sofia the First is Back for the Second… Season that is…→
