Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast Arrives in 2015

NeverBeast gruff reveal

I can proudly say that I have seen every one of the Tinker Bell movies. This is a franchise that I share with my daughter and now, my son. the movies are really well done with excellent animation and they are funny. I have enjoyed every one of them and we own all of them as well. Suffice it to say that we are excited about the next installment, which is Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverbBast. In this movie one of Tinker Bell’s quieter friends gets to take a more prominent role in the movie. This time Fawn, the Animal Talent Fairy will get a lot of screen time. She will also be getting a new voice. The role of Fawn is no longer being voiced by Angela Bartys (Who has voiced Fawn in all the Tinker Bell movies except for the first one) but rather Ginnifer Goodwin from “Once Upon a Time”. I don’t know why a change was made in the casting or if the kids will even notice. I notice because I love voice actors and the things that they do. I also think that Ginnifer will probably do a fantastic job in this role. You can find out more about the movie below.

Halloween ComicFest 2014

Photo-A-Day #3487

Today I went to Wild Time Comics for the annual Halloween ComicFest. Randy and the crew had things all decorated for Halloween. I did not bring the kids after last year’s unholy meltdown by Eva. While she loves to get dressed up and enjoy Free Comic Book Day, Halloween ComicFest is something entirely different. She hates to be scared. There were plenty of decorations that would have sent her running. I actually can’t bring her to the store until well after Halloween because of the zombies and witches and stuff that scare her. Andrew is a little wary but not entirely scared. I think that is starting to change, however. He’s been waking up screaming for the past week or so, screaming about a goblin character from Team Umi Zoomi, probably the most unscary show ever. But for some reason the character of Grawp, or Grog or something bothers him and he no longer will go into a room where the lights are off. Developmentally he’s probably at the stage where he will start having nightmares. Not fun.

At the ComicFest I picked up four of the free comic books including SCOOBY DOO TEAM UP #1 FEATURING BATMAN, MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC, HERO CATS / PRINCELESS and GRIMM FAIRY TALES HALLOWEEN SPECIAL. I got some of my subscription comics as well as a new comic book box so I can further clean up the office. My desk is covered in books that do not have their own box at the moment.

We did not get off unscathed in the scared department. Tonight Allison took the kids to Trunk or Treat and within 15 minutes Eva had a hysterical screaming fit about being scared. And Andrew had the same fit over being strapped into the stroller. No Trunk or Treat for the kids next year. Maybe in a couple of years.
