PBS Annual Meeting 2015 – Day 1

Photo-A-Day #3685

Today I traveled to Austin for the PBS Annual meeting as part of the PBS Kids V.I.P.(Very Involved Parent) Program. This is my fourth time attending the annual meeting and my first time to Austin. I was pretty excited to get to Austin and check it out. I hear such good things about it every year from people who go to SXSW. I haven’t seen any of the famous food trucks though. Not that I need to (because we are eating really well) but it would be cool to check them out.

Dining Out Using the Red Robin Interactive Allergen Menu – $25 Gift Card Giveaway

Kid's Meals choices.

My family frequently visits Red Robin. Ever since I went to one in Vancouver, Canada I had been waiting to find one near me. This happened a few years ago at Patriot Place in Foxboro. We go often for birthdays because of the Red Robin Royalty program and the free birthday burgers. We also love the bottomless fries and freckled lemonade. We also like how well Red Robin handles Andrew’s milk allergy. Every time we go in and we let our server know about his allergy they are very attentive to our needs.

This is a new area of the Red Robin site that gives you menu suggestions based on allergens that you want to avoid. Allergens that you can choose from are Milk, Eggs, Gluten, Wheat, Fish, Shellfish, Peanuts, Tree Nuts and Soy. It is a very easy to use tool.
