Another Year Older and a Father/Daughter Dance

My Beautiful Father - Daughter Dance Date
Photo-A-Day #4016

Today was my 42nd birthday. In addition to being alive for 42 years I have also been taking a photograph every single day for 11 straight years. I started back in 2005 and haven’t shown any signs of stopping yet.

I worked last night so I came home, went to the gym and Target and then came home to sleep for a few hours. I got up and Allison and the kids were very busy while I was a asleep with getting some surprises ready for my birthday. They made cupcakes and cookies for me and gave me some great cards, toys and tshirts. They know me so well. The kids got me a Star Wars tshirt and Allison got me another one. Eva got me a book and Allison got me some Funko Pops for Captain America: Civil War.

Then it was time to get ready for the Father/Daughter Dance. Eva had been excited for weeks leading up to this dance. She has had her dress for a while and has kept it completely hidden from me because she wanted it to be a big surprise. She looked so beautiful in her dress and was thrilled to see the wristlet that I had gotten for her and even more thrilled when the colors went so well with her dress.

The dance was a lot of fun. We sat with some of Eva’s friends. Had a good time on the dance floor and came home at the very end of the night. Eva was wiped out and so was I. This going to work taking a day off and going back to work is for the birds. Not to mention that tomorrow Allison and I would be at Marriage Prep for the entire day. No chance of a nap.

Surviving Sick Season with Pfizer Pediatric

Pfizer Pediatrics

The Pfizer Pediatric Platform products, information, and additional gift pack have been provided by Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. All thoughts and reviews are my own.

It is sick season and if it hasn’t hit you yet then it most likely will soon. Whenever the seasons change and the weather goes wonky then sick rears its ugly stuffed up head. We’ve recently experienced hot days and 3-4 inches of snow in the span of a week. Allison works with kids and both Andrew and Eva are in school so they are exposed to germs all the time. Me, I’m a hermit and don’t like being around people, but I usually get the brunt of the sickness. Luckily when Sick just got real.™ you have a website to help you out and plenty of Pfizer Pediatric products also help you through.

While no one has gotten sick, save for an upset stomach and vomiting unexpectedly on Monday morning at 1:00am, this year we are ready to fight those colds. We can fight them with the help of Children’s Advil®, Children’s Robitussin®, and/or Children’s Dimetapp® which can be found at Target.com. Having these on hand will help fight against the “ick’s” and “ew’s” that bring your kids down.

Below you can find out more information about these products and also enter to win Pfizer Pediatric Platform bundle like the one I got. Continue reading Surviving Sick Season with Pfizer Pediatric
