Do You Die in the Civil War?

I flew out to California today for a top secret adventure tomorrow. I’m so excited to see what I’m going to see. I can’t say anything specific about it though. So I will tell you about a conversation that I had at the airport. I was standing in line at Dunkin Donuts and a gentleman in front of me asked is I die in the Civil War. I was confused. I told him that Iron Man doesn’t die in the Civil War. See, I was wearing my Team Stark shirt from MixedTees.com. He then asked me if I participated in Civil War reenactments. I then explained to him that there was a movie coming out from Marvel. I got a bit of a chuckle over that.

My flights were good. While I was flying I watched some shows that I had downloaded to my phone, read some comics, played LEGO Avengers of the 3DS and also watched a movie.

When I arrived at my hotel I checked in and then went to get something to eat. I went to a place called Bea Bea’s that served breakfast all day. I had some incredible crepes and bacon and eggs. Then back to the hotel and some relaxing and blogging before it was time to catch up with everyone for dinner. We went to a place called Hyperion Public. They had some incredible food like avocado fries. Delicious. I also got a pretzel with what they call O.M.G. sauce, it was great. I saved some for the homemade chips that came with my BLTA, that was a Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato & Avocado sandwich with some Sriracha sauce. Then as a group we split a couple of desserts like the donut sundae.

An All New Wild Kratts DVD and Book Launch – Animal Babies

Wild Kratts Wild Animal Babies DVD

This new Wild Kratts DVD is available everywhere tomorrow. Andrew and I got an advanced copy and got to watch the four episodes on the DVD. Opinions about the DVD and book are our own.

The DVD and Book were very cute and I am noticing that Andrew is picking up all sorts of knowledge from the Wild Kratts Show these days. We will be having dinner and he will say something about some animal or the meaning to some big word and we will ask him where he learned that and he will reply, “Wild Kratts!” I’m very happy that he is learning so much from this show and that he likes something educational. The Kratts’ show is one that I wholeheartedly enjoy myself.

The book is also quite nice and with Andrew nearing Kindergarten age it is more and more important to challenge him with reading. He’s smart enough that he is picking things up. With books based on things that he already likes it makes sitting down to read with him that much easier and more enjoyable. I think that the more we work on books like these the better he will get at reading overall.
