Spider-Man Homecoming SPOILER FILLED Review

Seeing Spider-Man
Photo-A-Day #4469

Going on Date Nights when you work weekend nights is pretty near impossible. However, we can occasionally have Date mornings. This morning Allison and I went to see Spider-Man Homecoming at our local theater. This is the first Marvel MCU movie that we’ve seen together in a while. She hasn’t even gotten so see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, yet. I guess that will have to wait for digital. Oh wait, this isn’t a Marvel movie, this is a SONY movie with Marvel serving as executive producer and having heavy influence on the film because the film is official canon of the MCU.

We really liked the movie. It was so well done. After the movie we went looking for Smashburger in Attleboro, however despite their being a sign for it, Smashburger is not around in Attleboro yet. Soon. So we went over to Five Guys and had lunch including some of their great milkshakes. I got Oreo and Bacon in my chocolate shake. But you want to hear about the movie.

I have a whole SPOILER FILLED review below. So, please do not read past the video or watch the video if you have not seen the movie.

Justin Time at the Beach

Every year you hear about how kids in the Summer months begin to lose some of their learning from the previous school year. In our house we are having the kids each do writing exercises to improve their handwriting and a lot of reading. Eva has taken to reading on her own and she is unstoppable. She’s read a ton of books already and has blown through a stack of books that I received for review. Andrew, seeing that his sister gets to stay up a little later because she is reading has been exploring his own bookshelf library. So, on that front they are doing well.

But what about something new? Are they learning new things? Yes, they are when we go on fun adventures, but that isn’t as often as we’d like. So, to supplement that we are looking at the Netflix Passport and you can download your own by clicking the image below.

With this passport you have some great suggestions for educational entertainment for the kids during the Summer months. The passport includes suggestions for shows with a global view, some focused on Arctic Discovery and Latin influences as well as discovering information about dinosaurs. I look forward to watching many of these suggestions especially Tales by Light, with the kids. This is the most interesting to me because it is about photography in far off places. That really excites me and I think it will be interesting to the kids, too.
