At Sweet Suite I ad the good fortune of coming home with two Lightseekers Starter Packs (Affiliate Link). I have worked with the PR rep for TOMY for a number of years and he set one of each pack aside for me. I was really thrilled to finally play this game. Then I got home and time passed and I got swamped with so many things. I kept seeing posts from the Lightseekers Official site and Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. I saw the toys in Toys R Us and on Amazon.com. More time passed and I did not get to playing the game. I had no excuse, too. I had opened the Starter Packs in New York so that I could carry everything home. the boxes are huge! I even picked up some accessories at Toys R Us to use including a Starter Deck for the Tech element (Affiliate Link), a Spinblade 3000 (Affiliate Link) and a Flynamo for my Tyrax character, Jax. There is a whole heck of a lot that goes along with this game and so I made the video below to explain it the best I know how and to give you a look at how everything works.

Lightseekers is a Toys to Life Game, but it is more than that. Lightseekers are action figures, but they are more than that. Lightseekers are Augmented Reality, but they are more than that. Lightseekers is a Collectible Card Game but again, they are more than that. There are so many facets to Lightseekers and it is only continuing to grow and expand. See what I mean in the video below.

Back to School with Treo Organic Birch Water

Treo Birch Water

We were provided some samples of Treo Birch Water Infusion to try out and review. Opinions are our own and health and benefit claims come from the Treo Website.

Last night was new student night at Andrew and Eva’s school. We are gearing up for the new school year and that means picking out drinks and snacks for them to enjoy at school, after school and at activities. The kids have never had soda. We’ve never offered it to them and they have never had any interest in trying it. They have tried it but didn’t like it. They also did not have much by way of juices early on but have had more juices as they have gotten older, not by much, though. Our pediatrician was always very firm about juices for the kids and so it was milk and water for Eva, water for Andrew – he had a milk allergy early on and never developed a taste for it.

When I was at Blogger Bash recently I was able to sample Treo Organic Birch Water Infusion. This drink was excellent. It comes in 4 fruit flavors like Strawberry, Blueberry, Coconut Pineapple and Peach Mango. My favorite flavors were Strawberry and Blueberry. I received samples of each of the flavors to share with the family. They enjoyed them very much and now I’m going to be picking up some more bottles for everyone to enjoy. I can feel good about this choice because of what is inside each of the bottles.

Each bottle is 2 servings so at 10 calories a serving the caloric intake is quite low. Also, with 1 gram of sugar per serving even I can enjoy two servings and not feel guilty of having too much sugar. The drink is also vegan, kosher, Non GMO and Gluten Free. I think that covers quite a few good special situations for people. The ingredients are all organic and natural while the sourcing of the ingredients is sustainable. This is what TREO says about how the drink is made.

Each spring, we hand tap our Vermont trees to extract the nutrient rich sap, then, we give them time to rest and rejuvenate. There is absolutely no deforestation involved, as our approach is 100% environmentally sustainable. – Because, at Treo, we strive to preserve the integrity of mother nature and recognize that in order to produce the highest level of quality, we must treat each and every ingredient with care.

I went to the DrinkTreo website to see where I could find it near me. Luckily when my sample runs out I can head to my local supermarket and pick up more. The website has more information on Treo including where to find it as well as more of the health benefits of the drink.

I didn’t know anything about Birch Water before attending the Blogger Bash event. I had never even heard of Treo before. However, there are quite a few benefits from Birch Water that even include helping teeth and gums. Here are three benefits of Birch Water that I learned on the Drink Treo website.

Thirst-Quenching Hydration
Full of naturally occurring electrolytes and antioxidants your body needs, Treo hydrates your body faster than water.

Naturally Sweet & Low In Sugar
Treo gets its lightly sweet taste from xylitol, a naturally occurring sugar found in birch sap, that’s also good for your teeth and gums.

Naturally Detoxifying
Birch water’s been a traditional, natural detoxifier, full of health-enhancing nutrients throughout Europe and Scandinavia for generations.

With all of these benefits and a great taste I can send Andrew and Eva off to school, after-school activities and more with Treo and feel confident that I am providing them with something not only delicious but beneficial to them. That is, if I let them have any more because I like it so much.
