Cookie Monstah Awful Awful and Donuts ...

Cookie Monstah Awful Awful and Donuts

Photo-A-Day #02776

Today I went over to Seekonk to Master's Homemade Donuts to pick up a 2 Good 2 Go package bursting with dozens of donuts. I was trying to get over to Triple S BBQ because that is in Seekonk as well but they were so packed I just decided to go to Newport Creamery for lunch before getting the donuts. There I got a BLT and a Cookie Monstah Awful Awful. It was so good. I think I have milkshakes on my mind since that is my bosses latest obsession. I'll probably be making them next week at work.

But the trip to Seekonk was for the donuts. There was a kid who came to The Pretzel Factory and he was starting a small Tik Tok channel to review 2 Good 2 Go locations. So, I learned about Masters Homemade Donuts from him. I couldn't find it on the app for a while but finally did. And then I couldn't snag the bag until yesterday. It worked out well since I had last night off from work so I could go get the donuts in the afternoon and then I took them to work. I did eat one when I got them and that was it for me. It was really really good. I got about 3 dozen donuts for $11. Crazy.

I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. That is one of the coolest things about these sets is how the lights are incorporated into the build. Some very innovative bricks were made in order to thread the wiring...

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
