The Jack Camera Messenger Bag Brings Style to this Imagelogger

Me with the NX1 in California

I’ve been carrying the Jill-E Designs JACK Camera Messenger Bag around for a few months now. I was sent one to test out and review thanks to my friend Chris Lewis from Dad of Divas. Opinions of the bag are 100% my own. I received the bag back in early March. I started using it in april when I took a trip to California to cover the PRess screening of Avengers: Age of Ultron. I was able to carry a ton of equipment with me. This made the bag rather heavy but it was still a decent choice. I took two bags on my trip, a roll aboard suitcase and the JACK Camera Messenger bag. Jack fit under my seat pretty well, it was a tad big for that but then again what can fit under an airplane seat? I took three cameras with me and a few lenses as well. Then I also brought my tablet and additional equipment. I had plenty of space for everything.

The Jack Camera Bag

The bag itself is beautiful. It is brown leather and looks amazing. It has great pockets for cameras and is padded to protect my equipment. There are two small pockets on either side that are very small and tight. I can’t get much in those. However this are two pockets on the front of the bag that are great for things like pens, my digital voice recorder, business cards, extra chargers and more. There is a zip out pocket on the back that fits my laptop and another pocket that can be used to place the bag on the handle of the roll aboard suitcase for easy carrying. I used that to carry my tablet.

Jack Messenger Bag with the NX500

I have easy access to my cameras with the large fold-over top flap with a push button closure. Inside there is a main pocket for my primary camera and side interior pockets for my additional lenses. I often carry my NXMini with me as a spare camera. Now that I am using the NX500 full time I have reconfigured my interior to accommodate that camera and the various lenses that I’ll be using for the next few months.

I’ve carried this bag full time for two months. I bring it with me to work every weekend and have taken it on two airplane trips. I’ve carried a ton of cameras, lenses and other equipment in the bag and I am very pleased. It is strong, sturdy and very useful. It gets a lot of complements, too. I want to share with you a few of the main features of the bag. This comes from the Jill-E Designs description of the JACK Camera Messenger Bag.
