I’ve been reading Charles Schulz’s book Around the World in 45 years. It is a collection of strips to commemorate his 45 year of drawing Peanuts. While the book is not outstanding, I would have liked more insight into each strip rather than a select few in the beginning, it does have charm. The charm is in the comic strips. I am a huge Peanuts fan and have begun to compile my own collection of the Fantagraphics collected years of strips. I even got a couple more books from Allison this past Christmas.

As far as Around the World in 45 years is concerned I really enjoyed the foreword by Lynn Johnston who writes For Better or For Worse. I also liked some of the explainations by Schulz about the comics in the beginning of the book. I’m halfway through the comics themselves. All in all I like it.
