Last week we tried the Orville Redenbacher Pop Up Bowls. We had the Ultimate Butter type sent to us. To me that was way too much butter, it even made my fingers a bit yellow. Not that it wasn’t tasty or anything, I’m just saying. So when the Orville Redenbacher Pop Up Bowls hit the shelves at Walmart we went in search of them.

Here is a Whrrl of our search.

We got the movie theater butter flavor because it was the only box in the store. I guess these went super fast or something. I asked the staff if more were in the back but they said no and that a shipment was arriving sometime today. Well, there was a movie to be watched so we headed home. Not before picking up some lemonade mix and a bag of M&Ms.

Popping up the bowls was super easy. I used a different microwave this time. Ours has very poor power. In a better microwave we were able to pop up the bowls in the exact amount of time on the bag 2 1/2 minutes. There were very few kernels unpopped too.

The bowls themselves were great, they were easy to eat from and what’s best was they were nothing at all to clean up. Crumple up the bowl and toss. Bang, cleaning done.

My Special Extra!

Snack Time!

These Orville Redenbacher Pop Up Bowls are popping up in your local Walmart now, go try them out, Easy to make, even easier to clean up and delicious!

Disclosure: I was compensated by Collective Bias to go and purchase the Pop Up Bowls and document my experience. The experience and my opinion of it are 100% mine.

I did put the M&Ms in the Pop up bowl. Many of them ended up at the bottom witht he kernels so I had to pick around them when I got there. But otherwise they were really good.

  2. Ooh – I LOVE the mix in idea!! Glad you liked this variety better; I hope your store re-stocks soon!

Do you know how many flavors there are? I have tried the ultra butter one, tasty but messy and the movie butter one, much better, but I probbly should be eating the healthiest flavor I can find.
