Boston Media Makers January 2011

Boston Media Makers
Photo-A-Day #2095

I attended my second Boston Media Makers event yesterday. It was a good session with many great ideas from some really interesting people. While I was there I got to meet Jacqueline Carly (@Fitarella) and she sat down with me for 10 minutes to record a video interview for Road To Thin. She has a show on The Pulse Network and is doing some really great stuff. When I got home and started editing the video my home desktop malfunctioned so I had to deal with that. I’ll get the video up over at Road To Thin soon.

At the Boston Media Makers event there was a guy there named Michael Murie who brought in a DIY Slider Dolly. I was impressed with that, a very cool device. You can see how he did it on this post: Notes on Video: DIY Slider Dolly.

Tonight I recorded an episode of Geek Dads Weekly with Daniel. Good show. We are going to get to hang out this coming weekend in Vegas because we are doing a session at Affiliate Summit West 2011.

This is my own personal DSLR camera that I bought half of. My mother-In-Law bought the other half as an investment of great photos of her grandchildren. With over 26,000 photos of Eva and counting, I’d say she got great ROI on the investment. The opinions about them are 100% mine.
