I have to say that the response to BenSpark’s Refreshing Soda-Club Contest… it was more than I expected. I had hoped that more people would have entered the contest but the buzz that those seven people generated for this contest was overwhelming.

I looked back through my stats from My Blog Log to see where people were coming from this past week and it has been amazing as far as the sheer number of visitors.

If I just pop back to this past Saturday June 23rd through today I had over 1322 hits to the Page Vote for your favorite…

There were also over 479 hits to BenSpark’s Refreshing Soda-Club Contest…

I saw many great incoming links too from some well done posts from each competitor promoting themselves throughout this contest. People made their own vote buttons, posted on forums and worked their butts of to compete in this competition. I thank everyone who participated, both the competitors as well as the people who voted for them.

Results of BenSpark’s Refreshing Soda-Club Contest

Now that the voting has been going on since Monday, BenSpark’s Refreshing Soda-Club Contest has been heating up the Web. Soda Club Contest is heating up…

Voting is now Over – The Winner has been announced.

Vote for your favorite…

After winning the One for Me, One for You contest that Christine sponsored my mind began to think about a contest that I could sponsor. I sent out an e-mail to all of my contacts asking them to vote for me in the contest and one contact was Kristin from Soda-Club. Kristin read this blog and saw that I wanted to do a contest of my own so she proposed that I work with Soda-Club on a contest.

I am very excited to tell you that I am sponsoring a contest along with the folks at Soda-Club. They have agreed to donate the first, second and third prizes for this competition.

First prize will be a Soda-Club Home Soda Maker either an Edition 1 (black/silver) or the Fountain Jet (white) and supplies – winner’s choice on model. Second place gets a BYOS package (Bring Your Own Seltzer) which includes a sample pack of flavors and a stainless steel mixing bottle. Third Prize would be a Pint Glass with the Soda-Club logo.

I own a Soda-Club Home Soda Makerand have had one for some time. I enjoy using it and my friends have enjoyed the benefit of my having the flavors that they like most on hand when they come to my house. I enjoy the convenience of having the soda maker in my own home. I also am enjoying the added health benefits of Soda-Club soda. Yes, I said health benefits. Soda-Club soda has less sugar than regular soda and their Diet versions are made with Splenda. This is very important to me because I have had to cut regular soda from my diet and had a hard time finding soda sweetened with Splenda and I did not want to add aspartame to my diet. Sure there are some brands out there that have Splenda but not enough and not in as many flavors as Soda-club has.

BenSpark’s Refreshing Soda-Club Contest…

Last night when we were at the Christopher Williams show and I was talking with Chris we discussed Photo-A-Day. You may not know this, but I hope you do because that means you’ve been following Photo-A-Day for a while now, Christopher was the inspiration for Photo-A-Day.

We were discussing it and Christopher has been kicking an idea around about taking a perspective a day. He had to explain it a bit to me so today I took a photo from my perspective, right before I enjoy some diet pink grapefruit soda. This might not be what he was talking about and maybe I just didn’t want to go outside into the crappy weather. Tomorrow’s Photo will be better because we are going to Derek and Michelle’s for St. Patrick’s day and we are having a Wii party. Derek got the Wiimote recharging station. I am jealous, and burning through batteries as I blaze through Zelda. But I wonder if I should buy something specialized like that or just get some rechargeable AA batteries.
