For the past few years Allison, Eva and I have participated in a great local event called the Chocolate Lovers Stroll. We did it in 2008 when Eva was just four months old and then again 2009 when she was 16 months. It is a wonderful event that happens in downtown North Attleboro and there are about 30 businesses that participate. The tickets were to go on sale at 11:45am and at 12:15pm we arrived to see this sign.

So, instead of walking from shop to shop and getting some great chocolates we went to Plaster Plus. Plaster Plus is a great little shop where you paint your own ceramics. They host kid’s birthday parties, have classes and even free wi-fi. So, we popped into the shop and picked out a ceramic fish for Eva to paint. I figured that a fish would be great for Eva because you could put whatever colors she wanted on it and it would still come out pretty. Eva loves to paint and she enjoyed this thoroughly.
The finished product is very cute and we had a very fun time. I look forward to going there and playing again.
The change was a fortunate one for another reason. I made a connection with the owner of Plaster Plus. Her place has that free wi-fi and I asked if she ever rented it out after hours. I’m looking for a place where I can start teaching some internet related classes. More on that to come once details come to fruition.
Eva and I read Barefoot Books Every Night!

How cute!! That’s a great idea! And I love that she wanted to use pink and brown…she knows her fashion colors!! I’m so proud:)
Mo,
Brown was the first color she picked. Then pink. You know Eva well.
