Close up from Far Away

Photo-A-Day #2175

I connected my extension tubes to my Sigma 18-250mm lens. With this sort of setup you have to make sure to add a lot of extra light to get your shot. This probably would work out great for some outdoor shots. If It would stop snowing and raining.

Here are some photos of me shooting today’s photo.

So, last night I sent back the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G. I stopped in to FedEx. The last time that I shipped back phone it was in a box and then put into a thicker envelope. So when the condescendingly smug kid behind the counter said that the boxed up phone that I had to send back needed to be in an electronics box I was not happy. I told him what I shipped the phone in last time and he said that the electronics box was required for things like phones to prevent damage. Case closed. He proceeded to take out all the foam from the electronics box and because it wouldn’t fit with the already boxed up phone (and did I mention that the phone was already in a box with it encased in foam). The box was for electronics that weren’t already in a case, I am sure of it.

He was so smug and condescending, I wanted to jump across the counter and give him a couple of enthusiastic taps with the boxed up phone and see if it caused any damage to the phone. I was willing to chance the damage to the phone to make a point. The phone was already in a box, a pretty protective foam filled box. Smug little jerk. Oh man he’s still getting to me.

I liked the phone and will be putting a review up on the blog soon.

This is my own personal DSLR camera that I bought half of. My mother-In-Law bought the other half as an investment of great photos of her grandchildren. With over 26,000 photos of Eva and counting, I’d say she got great ROI on the investment. The opinions about them are 100% mine.
