Not everyone is going to go to a four year college. Many people skip it and work in the real world right away. Some do that and then go to a career college like Hondros College. I work in the medical industry and I know that there is a nursing shortage out there, nurses were getting large bonuses to go to certain hospitals and work there. A career college is one way that you can prepare yourself for a career in nursing by taking a Nursing Program. About a year ago the school opened a new campus in Cincinnati Ohio specifically for Nursing LPN & RN degrees. So that school is focused on the specific education and training of nurses, which is good because we need more nurses.
