Photo-A-Day #1883

Each morning that I go for a run around 5:00am I see the cows out in the pasture. When I go by later in the day they are gone. I always kick myself for not having my camera with me when I run (very impractical, I’m already lugging around enough weight). Today I decided to get up early and go to work by way of the pasture and stop and take some photos. I will try and get them another time earlier in the morning. They were mostly huddled in the corner of the pasture.

As far as the ice cream part of today, Allison, Eva and I went to SweetWorks. SweetWorks is a new venture from SoupWorks (a very successful restaurant in town). It is an ice cream shop as well as cafe with some delicious treats. The things we saw and smelled, oh the temptations. The decadent chocolates and rich Bliss Ice Cream was fantastic. Eva got a kiddie size cone of vanilla and I got Moose Tracks, Allison choose caramel pecan. A really fun touch was shakers of jimmies (chocolate and rainbow) on the tables. Right there on the tables, that was a nice touch, however that may not be the best idea for the shop because those things get all over the place.

I joined up with the affiliate program that John Chow just launched for his new Blog Profit Camp. John Chow makes more money each month than most people do in an entire year. And he’s also one hell of a nice guy. I’ve had the pleasure of hanging out with him many times at conferences and he’s the real deal. You can download John Chow’s new ebook today, the new camp starts on June 29th. Get a jump on it today with the new 60 page ebook.

  1. Grandfather says:

I love seeing the cows up there. We would see them all time when we were building Corrine’s house. They remind me of my past “farm life”.

  2. I can tell by the look on the cow’s face that he’s all, “What the heck are you doing running around at 5am?”
