Don’t Blink

Dont Blink
Photo-A-Day #1897

I had flash forwards to 19-25 years from today. Allison, Eva and I went to my cousin Erin’s rehearsal Dinner. Erin let Eva play with her rehearsal bouquet. Eva proceeded to march up and down around the platform that Erin and Danny will be using for the ceremony tomorrow. There is a beautiful archway on it and Eva stood there under the Archway over and over. It was impossible not to catch my heart in my throat and wonder about Eva’s special day years and years and years from now. The scary thing was how fast it will be here.

I’m photographing my first wedding tomorrow. My cousin Erin and her fiancĂ© Danny are having a comfortable backyard wedding. We stopped by to meet everyone, see about logistics and scout some photo locations around the yard. I’m glad that my first wedding photography assignment will be with family, especially such laid back family members as Erin and Danny. Wish me luck.
