Today we took Eva to see Disney on Ice. She was very excited to see the Princesses skate. She’s seen the commercial many times and each time she says that she’d like to slide on the ice. I think maybe some little skating lessons might be in her future, we’ll see. I’m nervous enough when she’s walking down the street, I can just imagine how I’d fare watching her on a slippery, hard and unforgiving surface.
Later on I had a great conversation with a few of the guys from Road to Thin. We were talking about the site and our goals as well as our upcoming guest this Saturday, Kim Ann Curtin. She’s going to work with us on goal setting.

Great picture, dude!! That would be a really fun show to see! And I can totally understand your fears of Eva’s learning to skate – from one overprotective parent to another! LOL
Sammie (my 14yr DD) just got a trampoline from Santa and I’m scared to death!!!

Lisa,
A Trampoline, how’s your homeowner’s insurance now? Yikes, I hope that Eva doesn’t see one of those around.
Thanks for the solidarity! I appreciate the support.
She’s going to get hurt daddy. You can’t prevent them all. Skating is a good way for her to learn to get back up again and give it another go. At a young age they are more flexible than we are. But I do understand the fear.
