Eva Reviews It! – My Meaningful Life Journal

My Meaningful Life

Peaceable Kingdom gave us a copy of their My Meaningful Life Journal for free. Opinions of it are 100% our own.

Based on my daughter’s reaction to receiving it, this is a great journal for kids. There are so many fun activities to do inside for kids to discover more about themselves. The journal is all hers and it is a way for her to explore and express all of her personal innermost feelings, both the good and not so good. It also has activities for her to do to make her laugh when she may be feeling down. The journal is for ages 4 and up but I think it works better for older kids who are able to write things themselves and who are just starting to discover their own ways of self-expression.

This year has had its ups and downs by way of emotions for Eva. She is a deep thinking, a thought processor and she feels things on such a personal level. She’s had some moments with friendships that have kept her (and us) up at night. Luckily, Eva and Allison went to a Mom and Me empowerment program and through it they started using a shared journal. Eva can write in that journal (different than the My Meaningful Life one) and leave it on Allison’s pillow when there are things that she wants to talk about. Eva takes time to process things and she does so often through writing. This shared journal has shed light on much this year. I hope that they continue to use it together and Eva continues to use the My Meaningful Life Journal as well.

Now that Eva has been using the My Meaningful Life Journal for several weeks I know that it has made an impact. There are some great activities inside and she is one to work through all of them. Using this journal will encourage her (on top of the encouragement she receives from us) to more self-expression and self-discovery.

The My Meaningful Life journal is $15.99 and can be found at http://www.peaceablekingdom.com/product-detail/my-meaningful-life. There are also a bunch of other guided journals for kids including some for them to take to Summer Camp.
