Today Allison and I went to Evelyn’s Drive-In in Tiverton, RI. One very nice thing about living in New England and enjoying dining out is The Phantom Gourmet. The Phantom Gourmet is a great little show that showcases fine dining establishments all over the New England Region.
And one of the dining establishments that they showcased a while ago was Evelyn’s Drive-In.
Evelyn’s Drive-In is a great place for seafood and atmosphere. Allison and I got the seafood Platter with Lobster meat. What a fantastic meal. There was a little sticker shock too, but all in all it was worth the trip and worth the price for lunch. The afternoon was beautiful and so was the meal. The service wasn’t great but we got the ditz, not the efficient waitress. So I wouldn’t say that our service detracted from our enjoyment too much.
