First Book Released to the Wild…

Today I released my first book into the Wild. I dropped it in a shopping cart in the Shaws Supermarket parking lot in Falmouth, MA. So if there are any readers in Falmouth, MA that are looking to read Patricia Cornwell’s book Postmortem, you can find a free copy at Shaws. I am anxious to see if anyone will pick up the book and bother to log on to BookCrossing.com to register it. We shall see.

Book Crossing - First Release 05/26/07

Update:Just came back from Shaws at 9:00pm, went to get ice cream, saw the shopping carts, they were moved, book was still there. I hope someone picks it up.

  1. Thanks Jennifer, I certainly hope that someone picks the book up. I was kinda disappointed that no one picked it up when I had gone back even though the carts were moved. I’d certainly pick up a free book.

  2. Wooo Hooo! Welcome to the addicting world of BookCrossing Drew!

Have patience … I have wild-released over 200 books. Sometimes the books get journaled right away and sometimes it will be years later. Some never get journaled. But the books are being enjoyed.

  3. Thanks Polliwog, I appreciate the comments. I sometimes forget that the real world doesn’t move as quickly as things to online. I will have to be patient. I will be doing many more releases all over the country so that will be exciting when they begin to be journaled.
