Photo-A-Day #1000!
Can you imagine getting your morning paper and seeing this?

Well, I guess that is what my parents saw this morning because Dad (aka Grandfather in the comments) told me that my photo from yesterday was not nearly as impressive as the photo on the front page of the paper. I went to the Sun Chronicle Website and saw this headline: Hey you! Drop that keyboard!

My phone interview yesterday had already made it to the paper and on the front page no less. Well, I certainly hope that this brings many more people out to Speed of Thought Playhouse for Blogs, Brews and Belly Laughs. They even got most of my sponsors named in the article too.

That’s awesome! Glad to see you see you getting some press for all your hard work :) I still don’t know how you manage to pull it all off…

  4. Drew says:

    Thanks Becky,
I’m just glad that there is some press for the event. Me, I’m not a Famous Blogger. :-)

  5. Hey Drew, saw the article in the SC today; looking forward to going and meeeting you Friday night!

Drew, that Front Page shot is amazing. I looked at it for a long time, daydreaming about what I could do with all those arms. You ARE a famous blogger.

  8. Drew says:

    Pat,
At first I thought you were coming on to me, but then I forgot that you are a cat and a cat really would make good work of all those arms. :-)

So you’re NOT a famous blogger? Because I’m pretty sure that’s you in that picture…and the article is about you- well, your event. That’s great! Hopefully it attracts more bloggers to get offline and interact. Have you noticed any new followers after the article came out?

  10. Drew says:

    Dina,
No really, I’m not famous, outside of the newspaper, Actually I’ve been in the newspaper a few times for a few things, one was podcast related. I have gotten readers from these articles. I’ve really put the search out there to find people on Twitter especially who would like to go to the event. So we shall see what happens. No matter what it will be fun.
