Looks like Google is starting their own Second Life like program called Lively. I set myself up with my own private island and am looking to have people visit me. Tonight from 8:00pm EST – 9:00pm EST I will be on my lively island. Please scroll to the bottom of the screen to log onto my island. I’ll have conversation, music and other surprises.
BTW this program is in beta and already there was a user with name BenSpark. I couldn’t believe it. Oh well I had to take the name BenSpark96.

as the registered owner of googleisnotgod.com are you still allowed to use google products?
I know Google Lively is pretty cool! I wrote about it on my blog here: http://www.secondlifeupdate.com/2008/07/09/google-lively-challenges-second-life/ and how it was challenging Second Life although they are very different. That is weird that your username was already taken. I saw your post about the Entrecard and SezWho partnership that was cool also. My favorite thing about Entrecard is that they are always trying new things.

Yes Stephen, I am very much able to use Google Products.
Hi there SLU,
I check out your blog daily but since I don’t do much with Second Life I haven’t had much to say. I liked your post about Lively. Good post. Thanks for stopping to comment.
Oh no! Not another thing to get addicted to on the internet! I like your island. Looks like it will get crowded pretty fast.
What always boggles me is folks who interact in Second Life, etc, and try to make it as close to their actual life as possible. When someone is having a fantasy, it is sad that the things they think of are washing the dishes. LOL

HG,
Thanks for dropping over. I opened it up last night but no one came to chat. This is a much more scaled down version of anything in second life. I just wanted to hang out on an island, listen to music and grill some burgers.
