To continue with our Give it Forward Project for Christmas is for Kids we have a My Little Pony toy. this is the Twilight Sparkle Remote control car. It is a cute car that fits two small size My Little Pony figures plus three of their pets. The set comes with the Remote Control, the RC car and a Twilight Sparkle figure. Twilight is ready to ride to the Pony Wedding of her brother, Shining Armor to Princess Cadance, in style.

Kids can pretend that they are Twilight Sparkle on her way to the Pony Wedding and delivering the wedding cake (There is a small paper wedding cake in the packaging that Eva insisted on keeping. The detail on the car and on Twilight Sparkle is nice. It is certainly what you’d expect from the My Little Pony Brand. The Twilight sparkle figure has rooted hair but, surprisingly no comb included. Don’t get me wrong we have tons of combs for My Little Pony figures floating all over the house, I’ve just come to expect them in the packages for all My Little Pony toys.

Driving the car can be tricky because it is not a full function remote control. there is a swiveling wheel at the front of the car that makes the car spin in circles. You can tap the spin button a little bit at a time to make the car spin slightly to go left or right. However, since it goes in circles you either have to make it go 90 or 270 degrees to make those turns happen. I don’t think that kids are going to very much care about that though. At least I don’t think so based upon Eva’s reaction to the toy. She giggled like crazy as the car spun in circles. She also loved that the remote played a bunch of different sounds including the Theme song to the My Little Pony TV Show.

The car and figure make good additions to any My Little Pony fan’s collection. Here is the official description of the toy.
