Giveaway: Crayola High-Tech Holiday Prize Pack

Some High-Tech Arts and Crafts

Have you been down the Crayola (Crayola on Twitter) (Crayola on Facebook) aisle at the store lately? I always take a stroll down the aisle when I am shopping. To me, arts and crafts start with Crayola: crayons, markers, paints, colored pencils, drawing pads and so much more. I was looking at the Crayola Holiday Gift Guide and drooling over the fun projects that I can do with Eva. The guide is great because you can search for gifts by age range, very helpful to find the appropriate products.

Back to the Crayola aisle int he store. There are so many cool products and many that have a High-Tech aspect to them. Now when you pick up a box of crayons or other crayola products you get to print out some special content. You can also buy a Story Studio to create a personalized story starring your child. There are three story studio versions at this time and there are Crayola Story Studios for Disney Princesses, Disney/Pixar Cars 2 and Spider-Man. We were sent those three Story Studio sets and love them. Eva enjoys being able to become a part of the story.

We also got a Crayola iMarker digital drawing tool from Griffin Technology (Griffin Technology on Facebook). This is a special stylus that works with the Crayola ColorStudio HD app for the iPad. With this device we can choose so many amazing digital tools to color in interactive coloring book pages. You can use the iMarker to select Crayons, Markers, Paints and colored pencils to use on the iPad to color pages that respond to your child’s movements with the stylus. Music and animation that they can color.

For the child who craves action and adventure, Crayola Story Studio: Spider-Man lets kids upload a photo and transform themselves into a superhero that stars with Spider-Man in personalized comic book they create and color. A free access code inside the kit unlocks the Story Studio application at Kids can choose a super power, story-line, and one of six villains to battle alongside Spider-Man in their own web-slinging adventure. When they finish their story, they can save it, share it or print and color it. The kit includes paper, glossy cover sheets for printing comic book-style covers, binding strips and 15 Twistables® colored pencils to create three complete books.
For the child who loves fairytales and wonderment, Story Studio: Disney Princesses lets kids star in a fairytale with a Disney Princess. Crayola Story StudioTM: Disney Princess lets kids create fairytales starring them and a Disney Princess! Kids upload a photo to transform themselves into a character, then create a story with their character and a Disney Princess! Story Studio includes everything kids need to create personalized storybooks and unlimited coloring pages – just print, color and bind the pages. They can choose storylines from Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, the Little Mermaid, Tangled, Sleeping Beauty, and Princess and the Frog. With the free on-line access code that comes inside, Pip-Squeaks® markers and glitter glue, blank sheets and binding strips, kids create three complete story books!
For the child who likes creative adventures, the Story Studio Adventure Maker: Cars 2 lets kids join the pages of a story with Lightning McQueen, Mator and the Cars 2 characters form Disney Pixar. The set includes 10 Pip-Squeak Skinnies markers, 3 Pip Squeak broad line markers, 2 Pip-Squeak glitter glue tubes, 30 story sheets, 6 glossy cover sheets and 3 comic binding strips to make three complete story books.
At $9.99 for each kit, Crayola Story Studio proves that high-tech doesn´t have to mean high cost!
Remember how cool it was to receive the Crayola 64 Box with the built-in sharper as a holiday gift when you were growing up? Just imagine how excited your kids will be to turn an iPad into an interactive coloring book using burnt sienna, carnation pink and a rainbow of Crayola colors from the Crayola digital 64 Box! The Crayola ColorStudio HD app and iMarker let kids´ imaginations run wild as they color moving, animated scenes that come alive with music, sound effects and hidden surprises. The app is free on iTunes App Store with the purchase of the iMarker for $29.99 at Toys R Us, Best Buy, the Apple Store and

Kids can select from 64 colors in the digital Crayola 64 Box and then use the iMarker to create the look of Crayola crayons, markers, paints and colored pencils as the stylus interacts with an iPad. The digital coloring pages respond with movement and sound as the pages come alive as kids color.

Animated images stop moving on the screen so kids can easily color them in without going outside of the lines, so objects look picture perfect when they start moving again. Tidy up your page with an eraser function or an “undo” arrow that removes larger areas of color.

In addition, kids can save their work in a gallery to be emailed, printed or uploaded to Facebook (mom´s account, and with her permission and help of course!), and also free draw, play interactive games and create their own customized coloring pages they can print and color off-line.

Recommended for children ages 3+, the Crayola iMarker includes, a set of AA batteries, and free download of the ColorStudio HD app.

  2. I also like:Crayola Activity Center for age 4 ,so I can help my grandson get ready for PreSchool

  3. I like the color studio app for iPad because my husband can download it and let my grandson enjoy it when he visits.

  4. I would like to get the Stow & Go Studio for my daughter b/c of the storage case. Would be easy to bring in the car.

  5. I didnt even hve to visit their website and I knew which ones because I have been seeing them on TV. Those crayon makers, and the Glow boards look so cool to me.. Of course then I did check out the site and was blown away by all the awesome products. The Dry Erase drawing board I think would be so great because it will last a long time rather than them being so excited and scribble on all the pages t once , then it be gone.. Mammaw likes to color too. I love LOVE this Giveaway!!
Look at what Cherie Corey wrote blog post ..Live the History, Escape Modern Life at the Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire, Near Orlando Florida

  6. I’d be most likely to buy the telescoping crayon tower! (For me of course! maybe one for my daughter too lol)

  7. Spiderman Comic Maker for sure! My 3 year old’s new obsession is Spiderman and my husband and I joke that we aren’t a “comic book” family and aren’t sure where he got this from … perhaps with a comic maker we could become a “Comic Book Family.”

  8. The metallic color wonder paper seems really cool for kids of a variety of ages, so I think it’s a really perfect gift 🙂

  9. My boys love cars and spiderman so they would love the studio comic maker. The stow and go looks fun too!
