Going home… PAD #1066

We are heading home from our vacation. All the flights are oversold. The airport is crowded and we are tired. That is pretty much the gist of it. I grabbed myself a book to read on the flights. Allison has Eva with her in First Class again. They are a couple of lucky ladies. The goodbye was a tearful one. It is very hard having Dan and Marcia live so far away.

Back to the grind tomorrow. Up and ready for work at 5:30am. Off to work and then home again. It will be very weird not getting to spend all day with Allison and Eva. I am going to miss them horribly.

There have been a few changes at work since we have been gone. My supervisor is now my manager. We are all so happy for her promotion. It is strange being gone from the office so long and being out of the loop. So it will be good to get back into the swing of things.

I see that Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been released. I have to get that. I’ve been waiting for that for a while. Maybe for my birthday. And a 2nd GH3 guitar, too.

You must have been typing on the plane with little room in coach. Let’s hear it for the girls in First Class!
I’m with you, Drew. The fries are out for me, too.
I hope you brought some Florida sunshine home with you. I can’t wait to see you all. Now I better check my work!

  4. Uh Oh, I knew I was gonna be in trouble when you started commenting…

I must have done what they call “fat fingering” to my cell phone when I sent in this message. I think we got some of the Florida Sunshine today, maybe not the warmth but the sun is already out. It is better driving in to work in the sunshine than in the dark too.

I hope I am home in time to see Shelby as well.

  5. Thanks Mo,
Looks like IZEAFest 2008 is scheduled for September and so we are likely to make another trip then. I’m not sure about anything in between that time but we shall see.
