Some decorative Kale outside the local retirement home. Allison alerted me to the ice on the leaves.

That is a really beautiful picture, I love the DOF on this one! :)
absolutely very sweet flowers you have here ^_^
Great captured indeed. A frozen flower, how appropriate this time of year. Though we have an unusually mild winter over here in Sweden.
On first glance it looks like a macro of a carnation! Very nice.
Happy GTS,
Aiyana
Thanks Chica, I like the colors as well, a bit muted and understated.
Thanks Aice, and welcome to my blog. I appreciate you stopping by to comment.
Hi Lifecruiser. I’ve been pretty quiet in the Green Thumb world lately, I appreciate that you stopped by to say hello. Enjoy your mild weather. We still have some junky weather here.
Hi Aiyana,
I can certainly see that. Decorative Kale has started to ‘grow’ on me as something aesthetically pleasing.
At first I thought it was a carnation! They are pretty – will have to check on finding some.
Thanks KML. I certainly enjoy the look of decorative kale, not sure if you can eat it like regular kale though. I should find that out.
