We had a nice little day today. It started off with Allison taking Eva to dance and then Eva spending much of the day with Aunt Corrine. I recorded an episode of Road to Thin and I’m actually down a few pounds. After that Allison and I went over to drop off our signed Purchase & Sale letter and the deposit check. With that we have everything ready to go to get the mortgage. The closing date should be on or before June 30th. Why so long? We’re flexible and the seller is moving, she’s found a place but was waiting for us to sign the P&S before making her offer.
With Eva off with aunt Corrine we took advantage of some time together to do something long overdue…. Have an actual adult conversation without Eva’s questions or having a TV one or one before 11pm at night. We went over to House of Fortune and got lunch and talked for a nice long time. Before we did that we took care of the rest of our Eater purchases. I’m excited to see Eva doing her Easter Egg hunt this year.
On the way home Aunt Corrine called to let us know that Eva was coming home. Eva asked her if she was going to bring her home when she was ready to go. Corrine said yes and asked her if she was ready. She said she was. So no afternoon nap for us. And I really mean nap, we’re tired monkeys.
So, instead of attempting to get Eva to nap we decided to take in a movie. We went to Showcase and saw Rio. This was a wonderful little movie. Eva had so much fun watching it except she wasn’t a fan of the monkeys. The monkeys were so funny but a little creepy. Eva was adorable while watching the movie. She was so excited when the main character, Blu, flew. She shouted, He’s flying! Yay! If you have a little one this would be the movie to take them to, it is colorful, full of music and many laughs. Allison and I liked them as well.
