Happy Little Wolf Pups

Happy Little Wolf Pups
Photo-A-Day #3344

Our trip to Great Wolf Lodge included an overnight stay, tickets to the water park, a couple of meals and a few uique experiences. Opinions of our trip are 100% our own.

Today we picked Eva up from school and took the family to Fitchburgh where the first Great Wolf Lodge in the Northeast is opening. We were lucky enough to be invited to stay overnight and experience this fun location. We get to stay overnight and experience all that the Great Wolf Lodge has to offer.

At a quick hour and a half from home the ride isn’t bad, unless you have an excited 6 1/2 year old who is going to ask you every few minutes how far we are from arriving at our destination. But we got there quickly enough and got checked in. Eva and Andrew made some new friends.

I grabbed our stuff from the car and we got settled in. I picked up some fun things for the kids to have as surprises for the trip. Some new towels and some goggles plus a set of Lincoln logs to play with. I had heard that some of the bloggers received Lincoln logs in their invites so I didn’t want my kids to feel left out plus it is a pretty easy toy for them to play with in the hotel room.

We went to dinner first over at The Lodge Wood Fired Grill. The Great Wolf Lodge does not open officially until tomorrow and the kinks are still being worked out. Overall the meal was decent. Service wasn’t that great but then again it is the opening and kinks need to be ironed out.

We passed the time passing around the NXMini to do some selfies.

After dinner we walked around a little bit to see the place. The kids did some coloring, they played games and watched the bedtime story program in the lobby.

So far this has been a really nice place and it is great for families. I’d request a room away from the lobby especially if you have little kids who go to bed earlier. The lobby show went on again at 9pm for about a half hour.

Grand Opening in Massachusetts Set for June 5th

The adventure begins when guests put on harnesses and then venture out across several rope pathways. Complete with varying heights and challenges at each station, Howlers Peak will be one of the key attractions at Great Wolf Lodge New England. Younger children will also howl with delight as they can walk alongside their parent on a smaller course designed just for them.

Signature Great Wolf Lodge experiences including Scooops Kid Spa and the interactive, live-action game, MagiQuest will also offer memorable moments for kids and parents alike. And each night, everyone will gather in the lobby for the interactive Forest Friend Show and Story Time before heading to bed in one of the lodge’s 406 themed suites.
