My good friend Autumn is raising money for MDA’s Stride & Ride for “Jerry’s Kids”. Autumn and I were neighbors back when I was very young, like 5 years old and younger. We hung out all the time and had play dates. I remember playing Hungry Hungry hippos and watching creature double feature on channel 56 at her house. I of course was a big scardey cat and was afraid to watch Frankenstein. I clearly remember that being on TV one time.

Anyway I moved when I was about 7 years old from one town to another, we lost touch for many years and Autumn found me on MySpace a couple of years back. We are both big into blogging and visit each other’s sites all the time and we also get together once in a while for dinner.

MDA is close to Autumn’s heart because she has Muscular Dystrophy. She is also Ms. Wheelchair 2007. In years past she has raised over $1500.00 with the help of family and friends. This year she will raise more, why because she is accepting donations online from anyone willing to give. And if you donate $10.00 she will give you two links on her blog. A pretty good deal.

So please help Autumn beat last year’s numbers so we can help her help those who help folks with over 43 neuromuscular diseases that affect people of all ages. There are only 20 more days to help Autumn surpass her goal. Please help.
