Photo-A-Day #2336

This is a Syma S107 Helicopter. It is a ton of fun to fly. I’ve had it for about a month and a half now. I saw an ad from Amazon where the copter was $200 marked down to $20. I had a gift card and on a whim I bought it. I was skeptical of how it would ultimately fly and if it would just constantly crash. I was wrong, this thing flies great and I am having so much fun with it 6 minutes at a time. Yeah, it is one of those Charge the thing for 3 hours and get 6 minutes of playtime from it. It does give me more pleasure than our Dyson Root 6 Handheld Vacuum Cleaner that has the same charge time and use time.

Speaking of cleaning. I’ve been cleaning the sidewalks around the house after the wind and rain from Irene. I pulled up all the weeds, swept up and down and sideways as well. And then when I go out I see some of our Hosta ripped up and on the ground, some of our dead flower and some of our live flowers also on the ground. There is a group of little girls, about 9 years old or so that use our corner as their hangout. I haven’t caught then making this mess but I am certain it is them. Even today I finished cleaning everything and then I go out later and there are the dead flower stalks, and big sticks and more. It is very frustrating when you try and take pride in your home and make it nice and someone comes along and messes it up out of careless disregard of your property.

It doesn’t surprise me that these kids have no respect for someone else’s home. We listen constantly to the neighbors to right to the side of us yelling and screaming at each other. There is no respect happening in that home and I can understand why these kids have no respect for anyone else. I’ll have to eventually confront them on their behaviour, just trying to figure out the best way to approach it.
