My media for YesVideo

Today I begin a new adventure on I am an official Blog Ambassador to YesVideo. YesVideo is a service that converts your old movies, slides and photos into digital content on DVD. I like to think of them as memory protectors. To me YesVideo celebrates my memories by making them accessible again. Do you have a working 8mm projector? I certainly do not. However, I do have some great home videos from when I was a kid, when my parents were younger and those memories could be lost forever just because we can no longer experience them and see them.

In preparation for my becoming a YesVideo Ambassador I received a gift code to use with YesVideo to convert some of my media to DVDs. I went overboard and actually spent double what I was allotted and so I paid out the remainder. I sent in two 8mm reels, four VHS tapes and 96 slides. When the media returns to me I’ll be sharing what I sent and finally be able to relive some of those memories from my past.

Thank you. I’m very happy to have been chosen to be a part of this. I was so excited to see what I could make digital that I went way overboard with the media.

Excited to be a part of this as well. It would be nice to get VHS over to an updated format before my VHS player eats the tapes!
