Marvel Legends Infinite Series – Star-Lord Figure

Photo-A-Day #3399

We received a large box of Guardians of the Galaxy toys from Hasbro to play with and review. Opinions of the toys are 100% our own. Since it is basically Guardians of the Galaxy week here on the blog I figured I’d show you toys each day. In the box there were all sorts of toys. One of the toys that I took for myself was the Star-Lord figure that is part of the Marvel Legends Infinite Series line. This line is also one that has a Build a Figure. The figure that gets built when you collect all of the figures is Groot.

Groot's Left Arm

The series is highly detailed and each figure comes with a bunch of accessories. They are 6 inch figures and retail for $19.99. I’d like to collect all the figures but it is a little rich for my pocketbook. T have seen them and they are very nice looking. The figures in the series are Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Nova, Iron Man and Rocket.

Includes accessories and left arm part of Groot figure.

• Movie-accurate, 6-inch Star-Lord figure with detailed deco
• Easily posable with 18 points of articulation
• Includes 2 interchangeable Star-Lord heads, masked and unmasked
• Part of the Groot Build-A-Figure Collection, includes left arm part of Groot figure
• Collect other Build-A-Figure characters (sold separately) to complete Groot figure
• Includes 2 weapons, headphones, cassette player, mysterious orb, and charming demeanor

Peter Quill's Face

Overall I like the figure, it looks amazing and the detail is great. The extra accessories like the cassette player and the orb don’t fit anywhere so they are fairly useless. The 2 weapons are great, though, they fit perfectly in Star-Lords hands. The hands have enough separation between the fingers so that the blasters fit, I have not seen something like this on a figure before. Usually the weapons sort of snap into place. These sit comfortably and securely without being in place too tight. The figure is also very posable. Those 18 points of articulation come in handy when you want to strike a heroic pose.
