Geckos… PAD #1061

Geckos... PAD #1061

I guess the title should just be Gecko as I only photographed one today. I was commenting that I had not seen as many geckos on this trip as I had seen on our previous visit this past summer. Maybe is was the heat who knows. As I was stating that I had not seen as many geckos I see one clinging to the side of the house.

We were returning from the pool and I had my Xacti with me so I set it to macro and snapped this shot and a couple more. I was able to get pretty close before it tore off and went into the hurricane shutters.

Gecko Cling

Lazy day here today. I kept busy with some posts on BenSpark 2 about the season finale of The Sarah Connor Chronicles: Vick’s Chip and What He Beheld. Both episodes are embedded on the blog, too. I also posted my latest Guest post for IZEA. I’m also working on some videos of our time in the pool today and yesterday.

  1. Green was for Saint Patrick’s day as well as for it being a primary IZEA color. The walls are mostly green in the offices. I wish I had known about the costume contest or I would have done it up big.

  2. Natalie,
We took a walk this morning and I was noticing them everywhere. I took more photos. I love taking photos of them, they are so fun.

  3. Hi Stacy,

It is too bad I wasn’t here when you were at IZEA visiting with your mom. She’s a pretty cool person. I enjoyed visiting her in Indiana. I thought you were further up north. I’m down near Fort Lauderdale now. Thanks for visiting and tagging me.

  4. Alison,
You can see the face in the second one much better however. I like the 1st one for the more artisitic surreal feel to it. I love photographing geckos because they are so fun to watch.
