Decay… PAD #1101
By Drew | April 13, 2008
This photo is of a stump in my Aunt and Uncle’s front yard. The whole inside is empty and the surrounding sides are decaying rapidly. Bugs and other creatures are making this stump their home. I like how the stump is so full of holes and if you had seen it from the side you would have thought that it was solid but it is not, it is being eaten away slowly.
Today was a long church day. We went to Mass and then later we went to my cousin’s Baptism. It was also a nice family day. We were able to see many of my aunts and uncles and cousins and have a nice meal and share some laughs. It was a great day.
The church has some beautiful stained glass windows. I snapped a few of them and liked this one and how I cropped it.
Just a moment ago my sister told me that there was a wild turkey in front of the church across the street. We ran out with my camera to go see if we could snap some shots. The turkey didn’t want any part of us.

Yo, Ben
Hows it going?
I’ve been looking at your shots the past few days. Something is going on with the your camera’s focus. The shots seem a bit off focus. I hope it’s not my eyes! :-\

The bottom two are out of focus a bit. Are there any other ones that you’ve noticed. I think all the rest are in focus. Thanks for letting me know.

It was a good day. It’s good that the families take the time to come together for a Baptism. I think that shows how much we welcome Amanda May into our family.

Dad, It certainly was a good day. Great when we can all get together at once.
