Photo-A-Day #279 01/12/06

Prior to today we were $40,000.00 credit rich. That means that if we had wanted to we could have purchased $40,000.00 worth of junk on various credit cards and at select department stores. I am happy to say that we are now $40,000.00 credit poorer. The plastic shackles and their finance charges will one day be unable to rule our wallets.

And this should improve the credit score so that when we get serious about house hunting the score will be nice and high. At least that is the plan man.

NICE! Congrats. Just make sure to call the company and cancel the card or they send you a NEW one!!! Oh. Wait. I think i was the only person stupid enough to think if you chop it up they’ll leave you alone. Last year i did my first credit report and found all these damn cards still alive and well!!! Sheesh….

No offence Kym, but I don’t forsee Financial advisor as a career path for you. 🙂

Each company was called and THEN the card was cut up.
