The Fourth was very nice to visit with family. The weather wasn’t great but watching the fireworks from the front porch was very nice. I play with my camera for a bit to take some fireworks pictures. I will upload when I have more time.
The bad weather continued for today and it was windy and rainy this morning when I ran over to the beach to snap a few images. My camera is still letting in way too much light and I can’t figure out why. I’ll have to mess with it on the plane.
hey…just an fyi…i’m not sure when you’ll be near a computer later to even read this…but the batteries for my canon camera were on clearance at the walmart for 5 bucks (there’s nothing wrong with them-they just changed the name). I picked up two…but if you let me know I can try and get you guys some before I leave myself!

Hi Lynne, Thanks so much for the great comment. It was a pretty windy day after the 4th. Wasn’t quite winter but the wind made things pretty cool.
