Heavy Metal Wings

Today we had a couple of appointments. Allison had some of the sweetest stuff on earth and wasn’t quite thrilled with that. Things are going well and baby is very active. Very kicky. We are thrilled watching the little bumps, kicks and jumps. Even Oliver has felt some of the kicks, He was laying on Allison and the baby gave him a swift little kick. It left Oliver very puzzled.

I had a very good appointment as well. Things are going well. I even lost 4 1/2 pounds. If I keep this up I may have to go out and buy some new pants.

Today I started the wheels turning on a new promotion. For all of you photographers from all over the world are going to be interested to see what I will have in store. That is all I can say right now.

The XShot contest is now over, I can’t thank everyone involved enough for the participation. Michael from XShot for supplying the XShots, everyone who participated by providing entries into the contest and everyone who voted for their favorite XShot entrant. Things went so well that another contest from XShot will be coming up in September, And you need an XShot to participate, so get one soon with the XSHOTVOTE promo code, you can save $5.50 on your purchase. That code is good until tomorrow.

Today I was in a macro mood because I finally got my self together to submit my macro Monday shots to the MacroMondays Flickr Group. So I took a bunch of macro shots outside. I did catch a very active spider wrapping up a meal for later and a garter snake that lives in the bushes on the front yard. So if you are squeamish about such things you should just take a look at the cucumber photo then.

Tonight, Allison and I went to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, check in tomorrow at BenSpark 2: Electric Boogaloo for a review as well as some reviews on the TV shows I have been catching up on. I won tickets through Fandango and the Chevy Battle for the AllSpark game. And I still have $10.00 in concession cash to use up before tomorrow. So it was a cheap date night for the two of us.

  1. I thought the movie was good, of course it can never be as good as the books but they did make a decent movie, it is still in the theater so you can still catch it.
