I shot a bunch of photos of Eva tonight and she was very very alert and the blue of her eyes was amazing. I wanted to emphasize that even more so I selected both her eyes and then selected the inverse and desaturated the image so her Eyes would pop even more. Day 28 of the December Challenge and I am still learning cool stuff. I also decided to post these images as well.

This one was my original choice for todays PAD however I did a second look and found this to bee good but just too close, I liked the composition of the one I ultimately chose for PAD.

We also propped Eva up on the couch and she sat there very well for a while, We took a bunch of photos of her. Mom is really enjoying the new camera she got for Christmas and it takes great photos. She got a Canon SD1000

She’s adorable. I love to see her sparkling blue eyes, very very attractive and beautiful. Why don’t you bring her for a nice trip to NZ and get the map of new zealand soon. This will be the nice and fantastic trip ever with your beautiful daughter.

  2. Drew says:

Thanks Robert. I’m not sure if we will make it to New Zealand anytime soon but that is a place I would really like to visit in my lifetime.

    Those eyes are hypnotizing me!

  4. Drew says:

Yes they certainly are most hypnotic. They say, send me money and buy me lots of stuff, at least that is what happens to me.

  5. Adam says:

Cute little rascal…her eyes really do “pop out” in the picture!

  6. Drew says:

Thanks and she does have the most beautiful eyes.

  7. Andrée says:

OK, I’ve learned two things: how to do that select, inverse thing. I want to process some stuff where everything except one object is b&w. Now I know how to try.

And portraits don’t have to be all head: I see that you (and othes) have cut off part of the head, and it is effective. I think that is my problem with head shots.

She is so beautiful. I see her parents in her now. Oh I know you did already, but it is becoming clearer and clearer!

  8. Drew says:

Thanks Andrée, I’ve learned many things from the portraits this past month, it has been awesome. I will probably do Trevor’s next challenge in February but for this month I’m doing my own thing.

Eva certainly is coming into her own. And yeah she does look a little more like each of us each day.
