after work I took Eva outside for a little while to play with her farm. We had to come back in for dinner but we were able to pop back outside with Allison too. Eva got a new book today and she was “reading” it to her ponies. She set up the horse and the cow in the barn windows and read the book to them. She would describe what she saw on the page as well as anything that came to mind. It was fun to watch.

Eva has one of those imaginations that we love to watch in motion. We had so much fun at dinner because each meal she wants to sing this song called the “Rocket Soup Song”. She sings it and then asks us to sing it. So tonight I kept making up the song to the tune of a bunch of different songs at the same time. I’d use Roxanne, Iron Man and others. It was too funny. She’d laugh and then get annoyed and then laugh again. It makes me so happy when I can make her laugh especially when she’s not feeling well and she’s not feeling well right now. She’s got a little cold. We are lucky though because she is so verbal that she can tell us where she hurts. I just wish she didn’t have to do so. I hope she feels better soon.

I love Eva photo days!! I’m sorry she’s not feeling well:( I hope she gets better very soon! Reading to her toys is a riot…she is so comical!! She’s so blessed to have parents like you and Allison that enjoy her and excite her adorable imagination.

Hope Eva is feeling better soon. Just hate when the little ones are sick and you feel you can’t help them much.

      Deborah,

I am hoping that she gets better soon. I hate seeing her sick. She’s all stuffy and not feeling well but at the same time still pretty much herself.
