BassBuds In-Ear Headphones

I received a pair of BassBuds In-Ear Headphones from BassBuds to check out and review. These are some pretty amazing headphones. In addition to the great sounds that these things produce they also look cool and work with smartphones as a mic for making calls. One thing that really sets these headphones apart is that genuine Swarovski Elements are embedded into the actual design.

The BassBuds come from the UK but they have a US version site where you can buy the headphones I happen to have a discount code for the headphones. They go for $85 but I can get you $30 off with the discount code BB59844. Head over to http://www.bassbuds.net/usa/ where you can select from a bunch of designer colors. There is a classic line of headphones which have solid colors like platinum, blue, green, red, pink, black, gold, purple, silver and yellow. There is also a 2012 Collection where the BassBuds have different colors and different colored crystals in them. With names like midnight, rhythm, eclectic, harmony, dynamic, obsession, envy, candy smooth and nu skool.

Using the BassBuds is a nice experience. They feel good in my ears. The ones I got are white with a silver double-wrapped cable. When I opened the box I saw that the headphones had white silicone tips of three different sizes for your in-ear comfort. Underneath the top of the box there was a little white bag that contained a set of black tips in silicone and a set of memory foam tips as well. I put the smallest size white tips onto the headphones and plugged the gold plated audio jack into my iPhone and instantly I noticed a difference. It was a big difference from the cheapo headphones that I had been using.

While I work I listen to podcasts throughout the night. I have to take calls from time to time and usually I take out my headphones for every overhead page and phone call. With these I can click a small button and it will pause my podcast while I can take one earphone out and take the call. Then I can click the button again and start the podcast back up again. This same button can also advance tracks go back to previous tracks. With the iPhone you can even click and hold the button to activate Siri.

You can also use these headphones to make phone calls, there is an integrated microphone as well. You can answer and end calls with the BB controller button. You can also mute calls while you are talking, all with this set of in-ear headphones from BassBuds.
