Review: dENiZEN Jeans

Back in June I switched my day job to a job where I worked Weekend Nights. This meant that I no longer had to dress according to certain rules because I no longer dealt directly with customers in a face to face capacity. I would work directly with customers on the phone. This meant one very important wardrobe change for me… Jeans! You can’t even begin to imagine how happy I was to ship off my old casual slacks to Goodwill and embrace my old friends, the jeans, again. So when I was asked to review a pair of dENiZEN Jeans from Levis I was excited.

In the time between requesting the jeans for the review and them arriving to me I had lost a whole pant size. This was very unusual and does not reflect on the time it would take for a consumer to order these jeans through the mail, it is just that sometimes review products don’t arrive right away. I think I was already on the cusp of dropping a size but I don’t like changing the size clothes until I’m absolutely sure that I’ll be staying at a specific weight for a while. So, since I’ve begun working out I’d say it might be safe for me to drop a size. Regardless of that the dENiZEN jeans fit comfortably. I also ordered them a tad long, so the cuffs drag a tiny bit behind my sneaker. I have a odd length leg and never think to order that specific size because most times I can’t find it in stores so I just live with pants a tad longer than needed.

When I chose the dENiZEN jeans I was to review I picked a dark jean. I never liked dark jeans and always got that faded light blue. My wife bought me my first darker jean and I didn’t mind it, in fact I liked it. I also never had a pair of dark sneakers but got a new pair at Evo Conference and began wearing them. The new dENiZEN jeans go very well with those sneakers and any overweight guy will have a closet full of black t-shirts because black is slimming. So these dENiZEN jeans fit right into the rotation perfectly.

I’ve worn the jeans to work the past few days. I usually wear the same pair for three days and then wash them. These jeans have been super comfortable, they look good and have a nice feel to them. After I washed the jeans they fit perfectly.

The dENiZEN line from Levis is exclusively available at one of my favorite stores, Target. The jeans are affordable and come in a variety of styles and sizes. They are also available for all members of the family. Prices range from $17 to $29.99.

I was at Target on Thursday and saw that the dENiZEN line was everywhere, kids, womens, and mens sections. The prices were great too, under $30.00.

And I’m sure no one is wondering about this but Allison also took a photo of me from behind. The jeans look pretty good if you ask me.

I can`t wear this jeans because it is very loose.
