Mega Construx Despicable Me 3 Sets
Photo-A-Day #4440

We received some Despicable Me 3 sets from MEGA Construx™ to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own.

Today Andrew and I opened three new Despicable Me 3 MEGA Construx sets and one blind bag with a special character inside. These are well done sets of toys and we have a full video below that shows what they look like and what we thought. I wanted to also give you some additional background and information such as price point. You can see that information below the video.

The sets that we review in this video are:

  • 1 Mega Construx™ Micro Action Figures Series X Blind Bag Toy
  • 1 Mega Construx™ Family Luau Party
  • 1 Mega Construx™ Mini Vehicle Balthazar’s Speedboat
  • 1 Mega Construx™ Wild Waterski Bike

Mega Construx™ Micro Action Figures Series X
SRP: $2.99 | 5+ years | Available: Now

  • Get ready for buildable buffoonery and movie-sized mischief.
  • With 12 new henchmen to collect including a new figure, Fluffy, you can create your very own silver screen shenanigans.
  • Features all-new outfits, gear, themes, and accessories. Collect them all and build your loyal Minion tribe.

Mega Construx™ Mini Vehicle Assortment
SRP: $9.99 | 5+ years | Available: Now

  • Mischief floats when someone who’s not Balthazar Bratt races away in his speedboat. Help the Minion get back the diamond that Bratt has stolen by building the pint-sized boat. Then, place the Minion in the driver’s seat and attach the gem to the boat before racing Bratt’s prize back to the authorities.

Mega Construx™ Minion Figure Pack Assortment
SRP: $14.99 | 5+ years | Available: Now

  • Build the jet ski bike, put the henchmen on their skis, and attach them to the bike’s tether to pull off some “perfectly executed” and not at all floundering water ski tricks. Then, make a splash when you take the chase from land to sea. Make sure to bring your beach towel.

    Despicable Me 3 Family Luau

    Mega Construx™ Family Luau Party
    SRP: $24.99 | 5+ years | Available: Now

    • Build the luau-themed scene, complete with palm trees, leis, lanterns, and a totem, and dance the night away.
    • Have a dance-off with Agnes, or play the ukulele with Edith – just don’t take any of the gummy bear soup from hula-clad Dave; he’s been spilling it all night.

Despicable Me 3

I liked these toys but the one that I really had my eye on was the Mega Construx Despicable Me 3 Gru’s Water Motorcycle Building Set. I really like motorcycles.

The toys are designed for kids age 5+ and are available in stores nationwide now. Despicable Me 3 will be in theatres nationwide beginning June 30.
