ScrapBooking Day

Photo-A-Day #2038

Today, Allison Eva and I got out the scrapbooking tools and out photos from out last Disney Trip. We’ve been talking about doing this activity as a family for a long time. Today was the first time that we actually sat down to do this for the first time ever. For years we’ve picked up things from Disney for scrapbooking. We purchased a great wooden covered scrapbook and it has been sitting here for a long time.

When I was at Blog World Expo I was given an Elmer’s Crafting Challenge box. This box was loaded, loaded with products from Elmer’s and Xacto. The box had a ton of glue and adhesive products. Xacto’s products included scissors and other cutting products. Using all of them with the existing scrapbooking products we had was perfect for making our first two pages in the book. Eva loved playing with all the decorative scissors. We gave her construction paper and she was so happy to cut on it over and over. She was pretty good too.

Thank you Elmer’s Crafting Challenge for the great box of scrapbooking products.

Tonight Santa Arrived at Bass Pro Shops and we were there. This is becoming an annual thing for the family. Allison, Eva and I welcomed Santa to the shop to come and light the Christmas trees and then be there to have photos taken with the kids. It was mobbed. Allison went for a visit with her friends and I stuck around and took Eva to dinner with our friend’s Michele and her two kids. We just got some hot dogs and popcorn at the snack shop. Eva really enjoyed spending time with her good friends. We all enjoyed the cool free activities at Bass Pro Shops.

I’m so excited about SwagsGiving. I’m grateful to everyone who has come ou to enter the contest and there are more and more people entering each day. Fantastic!
