  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02378 I picked up a few things from the Tik Tok shop for Christmas presents for the kids but I also got myself a little something. They had a brick building set, think LEGO but not LEGO, of Link from The Legend of Zelda. But they can’t call it that because it is not officially licensed. So it is Master Sword. The little figure is clearly Link from Zelda and the giant sword is his Master Sword (pictured on box). I’ll build the Sword part another time because I need a photo for today and even though we went on a little adventure today I did not take photos. My manager invited the tea to his house to enjoy a nice pool party. He did this the year that I joined the group but hasn’t done it since. I always regretted not having the family come with me to enjoy the event the last time so I made sure that they were with me today. Eva is at the Cape so it was Allison and Andy with me.   Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02371 Last weekend I picked up a little LEGO set. It was of two happy little plant holders. These cute little guys are going to be happy little additions to my desk. I came home from the Cape today with Andy. We played another round of Command of Nature and Andy won again. He’s gotten really good at this game and I am looking forward to a rematch.

  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02258 I built the LEGO Donut Truck today and made a video while building. I have an overhead camera that I use to show myself building the set The food trucks that LEGO has are pretty fun. I found some company that makes knock off LEGO bricks but they make a set of crazy food trucks. I don’t have anywhere to put more food trucks so I’m going to limit myself and not go and buy any more unless they are LEGO ones.

  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02255 This LEGO set has been overpriced for a long time. I finally found it for a decent price and decided to pick it up. I’m excited to build it soon. Tonight was the second to last show of The People Vs. Frankenstein. It was a really good performance. Everything is coming together so well in time for our last show tomorrow. It has been very fun.

  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02178 Today the boys had one adventure while the girls had another. I learned that I had a full day of Personal Time that I had to take or lose by the end of the year so I picked a day where there wasn’t much happening at night at work. We’re still short a person and one other person was going to be out for the weekend. That would leave only two people on and I don’t like taking time when there is a downtime to manage. But, it worked out that nothing was happening so I booked the tickets to aht andy and I could go to Brick Fest Live in Worcester. Brick Fest Live is a LEGO show where people come with their LEGO creations both amature and professional. There are also a bunch of LEGO themed activities to do. I had gone to Philly Brick Fest several years ago when I was doing a LEGO themed YouTube show. That event was really good and I had expected the same sort of thing from today’s show.   Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02131 My new phone a Google Pixel 9 Pro, arrived today and it has a built in Macro Mode for the camera. This new camera on the phone is awesome. So many megapixels and the ability to shoot in macro. The tough thing is holding the camera still enough to get a good macro shot. I was trying to take a few shots and they did not come out great because of how close I had to get and how still I needed to keep the camera. But I think this image of the inside of Optimus Prime’s chest in my LEGO Optimus Prime came out pretty good. You can even make out the backwards LEGO word.

  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02119 I recorded another LEGO building video today. It got a decent amount of views since then but no actual engagement. No one is leaving any comments on it yet. I will try and get a couple of them posted this week and see if I can start to get more of a following. Here is the video.

  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02099 I started filming new content for my YouTube channel today. I’ll have to figure out some more about how to film longer builds. Maybe less chatting and more time lapse. I’ll also go and set up some livestreams to build bigger sets. I have two great ones to start with. I have Bumblebee and the Fortnite Battle Bus to build soon. For now I’ve made one video. More to come in the next few weeks.

  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02093 This year Fortnite partnered with LEGO to make a LEGO version of the game or rather a LEGO game mode. Now things are going the other way around and LEGO is releasing Fortnite sets for fans. I picked up the Fortnite Battle Bus set and I cannot wait to build it. I’ll be building it next week or so for my YouTube channel. I have a whole new setup that I’ve been working on and am looking forward to seeing how it goes. This set will be one of my first.

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02087 We have a second collaboration between LEGO and Transformers. This time LEGO has a transformable Bumblebee robot. It is smaller in scale than the Optimus Prime one but I think it is going to be fun to build. I plan on building this for my YouTube channel in the coming weeks.

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02073 I found this LEGO set in the clearance rack and will soon turn it into a YouTube video with my new overhead camera. I got a message from YouTube the other day that I was about to be demonetized if I did not get my views up. I was planning to start up my channel again next month but amd going to start sooner than that. So, one day next week I’m going to get my videos working again and this LEGO set will be featured in one of those videos.

  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02042 I’m going to start making videos again and this time focusing on LEGO. I’ll be building lots of my LEGO sets using my new Overhead camera. I picked up this set specifically for making the first video because it is a small set.

  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02008 About a month ago I picked up this LEGO Burger Truck to build some night when I had downtime at work. I was home tonight and completed the work on a project so I took a little time and built the truck. It was a pretty simple build in two parts. The truck itself and the Burger stand that can either go on the truck or be offloaded from the truck to a stationary place. It would be pretty cool to have a food truck like that serving burgers all over the place. Especially one that looks like a burger. That would really attract people to the truck.

  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01992 While running errands this morning I stopped by Walmart and found this Venom LEGO motorcycle. It was a fun build. I haven't build many LEGO sets in a while but have a bunch to work on. I'll be pulling them out of the attic soon. I may even have to start making more videos.

  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01978 I had seen the LEGO Burger truck online and thought that would be a great set to build. I was in Best Buy last night and saw that they had it so I picked it up. I also picked up a gaming headset for my nephew for his birthday. He got a Switch at Christmas and didn’t have one yet.

  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01968 My Aunt and Uncle purchased me a LEGO camera for my 50th birthday. This was a LEGO creatives set and can be built into 3 different models. There was the Camera, Video camera and another option. I opted for the camera because it reminds me of the old Pentax that my Dad had and that I had learned on. It now sits on my desk as part of my display of fun things. It even has two rolls of “film” that you can put inside the camera. Very cute idea.

  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01951 A while back I picked up this Fast & Furious LEGO Dodge Charger. The set comes with Dominic Toretto. It was a fun build and the car looks amazing.

  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01931 My Aunt and Uncle sent me a couple of LEGO sets for my birthday. One of the sets was in a birthday card and it was a LEGO ninjago mini-tank. I built it last night at work when I had some downtime.

  Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01920 On the day after my birthday I stopped at the comic book store and picked up the most recent issue of Transformers. This new run of the book is the best I’ve read. When I got there I did not have this particular comic in my pull box, it had a different cover but I had seen this cover and I knew I wanted it. It looks amazing.You have Starscream crushing one of Soundwave’s tapes and yanking out the tape. Kids today would have no idea what that even was not to mention how cool it looks.As an 80’s kid who had a ton of tapes and has had mishaps like that before it was such a cool cover. The LEGO sets are from my Aunt Cindy and Uncle Wayne. They picked out the most perfect set for me, too. I was going to get that set for myself and even considered getting three of them to do all of them. The camera reminds me of my father’s old pentax camera. The one I learned how to take photos with. I’m looking forward to building this.
