Sofia the First meets Rapunzel in The Curse of Princess Ivy

Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy

The kids and I watch Sofia the First together. Whenever there is a new episode we usually all watch it. However, they went and watched the Curse of Princess Ivy without me the first time around. They happily watched it again with me on their second viewing. They both really liked the singing dragons and Rapunzel. I thought it was a great touch to have Mandy Moore reprise her role as Rapunzel in this movie.

The movie had more action than usual in a Sofia the First show. This time around Amber learns the secret of Sofia’s Amulet by spying on Sofia. then she gets her hands on it and gets cursed, a curse that frees Princess Ivy, a pretty nasty piece of work who is turning Enchancia black and white and trying to take over and make it her own kingdom. This movie will be out on DVD on February 24, 2015.
